Good evening parents and guardians,
I hope you all had a good three day weekend. As many of you know, I was sick last week and on Friday I was out with a sinus infection and migraine headache. Both Covid tests have been negative and I wore a mask so that I wouldn’t spread my cold. I am much better after literally three days of rest and am going to get back into the swing of things.
Please have your child bring a water bottle to class everyday so they can keep hydrated, especially during these high temperatures days. Tuesday and Wednesday we will have indoor recess. During this time, I will be playing parts of a movie called, Wonder, which is the chapter book we have been reading in class. Please let me know if you have questions or concerns.
Scholastic book orders are due by this Friday. You can go to the link here scholastic.com/bookclubs and enter our class code- HM6FX so we can earn class books. I will attach a PDF of the flyer this month for you to see as well. The “Book of the Week” is The Mouse and the Motorcycle and it only costs $1 (you will have to search for the book because it’s not listed on the flyer). If you have questions please let me know.
