Good morning parents and guardians,
This Thursday morning is our picture day. If you did not see the order form sent home and would like one please let me know.
Reminder: All medicines should be given to our nurse associate. We had a student find pills on the playground and turn them into an adult. There is a form in the nurse's office to fill out if you want your child to keep cough drops in their backpack but please remind your child that they can not share these and should not carry them in their pockets as they could fall out.
Thank you for all that ordered Scholastic books for September. Our order is in and books will go home today. We got new plastic book bins and a set of “Who Is” books and over 10 other books for our class library. If you didn’t order but would like to for October, our next order is due Oct. 14. More information to follow in blue folders.
Yes, you read it correctly! We have new blue folders that will be replacing the green folders students were taking home. Please decorate the front of the folder with a picture collage to help cheer up your kiddo if they are having a bad day or feeling down.
Friday shop: As you might have seen by now. Students can get little prizes from our shop at school. PATS gave me funds at the beginning of the year and I used those for prizes. Students earn Class Dojo points that turn into money on Friday that they can use in the shop. If you have any little toys that can be recycled in our shop and don’t mind donating them to our shop please send them in. After all, one kid's junk is another kid's treasure, right? I also find things at garage sales and thrift shops but students learn that some items are limited. It ties into our economics lesson and supply and demand. :)
As always please let me know if you have any questions. Also, remember that it may take 24 hours for me to respond to emails. Thanks and have a wonderful week.
