Good morning parents and guardians,
This week we will be starting our Diggs program. I look forward to working with students outside and learning about planting. In class, we will also be starting guided study groups for reading during our silent reading time. Those that are not in guided study will be building vocabulary and comprehension by reading an article a day and writing in their journals daily.
Scholastic book orders were sent last Friday and will be here within two weeks. Because of all the orders we earned points so that all students have a strong plastic book box that will replace their cardboard book box.
Volunteering: I know many have mentioned wanting to volunteer and help in the classroom. I have set up a schedule where I would love support and assistance with small groups or other tasks this month. I have attached this below for your review.
As always please let me know if you have any questions. Also, remember that it may take 24 hours for me to respond to emails. Thanks and have a wonderful week.
